Harvest season is the Okanagan's best kept secret. The wineries are at their most beautiful in September and October, the wine trail is buzzing, and the valley turns gold. Warm days, cool nights, and the lake is still swimmable through September. Fewer tourists, easier reservations, and the light is extraordinary. This might be the best time of year to be here.
