Beaches and Waterfront

  • Gyro Beach

    Sandy, calm water, great for paddleboarding. Minutes from the unit.

  • Rotary Beach

    Small and quieter than Gyro. Right near Capozzi Road.

  • Boyce-Gyro Beach Park

    Popular local beach with a playground and green space. Good for families.

  • Manhattan Beach

    Longer sandy stretch with views of the William R. Bennett Bridge. A bit north of downtown.

Outdoor Adventures

  • Knox Mountain Park

    The city's biggest park. Hike to the summit for panoramic 360 lake views. Trailhead 10 min away.

  • Myra Canyon Trestles

    Historic wooden railway trestles, now a paved trail through stunning canyon. The best day trip from Kelowna.

  • Okanagan Rail Trail

    Paved multi-use trail running along the lake. Rent a bike and go north or south for hours.

  • Kettle Valley Rail Trail

    Longer backcountry trail system through the mountains south of Kelowna. A proper adventure.

Eat and Drink

  • Waterfront Wines Restaurant

    Intimate and excellent. Book ahead — it fills up fast.

  • The Curious Café

    Best brunch in Kelowna. Expect a short wait on weekends. Worth it.

  • Raudz Regional Table

    Local favourite. Seasonal menu, great Okanagan wine list, relaxed vibe.

  • BNA Brewing Co.

    Craft beer hall in the old British North America Tobacco building. Casual and fun.

  • Krafty Kitchen and Bar

    South Pandosy neighbourhood gem. A few minutes from the unit.

Markets and Shopping

  • Pandosy Village

    Walkable strip of local boutiques, cafes, and restaurants right around the corner from the unit.

  • Kelowna Farmers' and Crafters' Market

    Wednesday and Saturday mornings downtown. Local produce, preserves, baked goods, artisan vendors.

  • Orchard Park Mall

    Full shopping centre if you need anything practical.

Day Trips

  • Naramata Bench

    The prettiest stretch of wine country in BC. 1 hour south — dozens of small wineries on a winding lakeshore road.

  • Penticton

    45 min south. Skaha Beach, the Penticton wine trail, and a great little downtown.

  • Vernon and Kalamalka Lake

    45 min north. Kalamalka Lake is called "the lake of a thousand colours" — worth the drive to see it.

  • Big White Ski Resort

    World-class powder, 55 km east of Kelowna. Year-round destination — skiing in winter, mountain biking in summer.
